About Me
I’m a designer with a fine art foundation and a deep love for building things that actually work. I earned my BFA in Fine Arts from Northern Arizona University, and after a brief detour through Colorado, I landed in Santa Cruz, where I completed my degree in Web and Graphic Design at Cabrillo College in 2004.
Since then, my path has been anything but linear—in the best way. I spent nearly a decade as an Art Director at a music software and multimedia company, where I honed my eye for design, storytelling, and user experience. From there, I moved into the development department of a Fortune 500 company, gaining valuable insight into large-scale systems, collaboration, and structure.
While I learned a lot in the corporate world, it ultimately wasn’t the right long-term fit. Freelance work allowed me to return to a more creative, flexible, and values-aligned way of working—one that supports both my clients and my family. Today, I combine strategy, design, and technical know-how to create thoughtful, well-crafted websites and visuals for small businesses and independent brands.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me crocheting, gardening, experimenting with herbal concoctions, or DJing house music.
